Unlimited*

Nothing infuriates me more than that damn asterisk. Whenever you see it it means "the word you just read is total bullshit".  Why can't companies just be reasonable and say the truth.  I have AT&T for my 3g service.  I'm grandfathered into the unlimited plan, but it's not unlimited.  It is very limited.  I only get 3 Gigs per month before I get throttled down to a barely usable amount.  AT&T explains this as such:
Only your data throughput speed will change if you use 3GB or more in one billing cycle -AT&T Explanation
So it's still unlimited we just limit it.

They claim this is to help ease congestion within the spectrum, however if you sign up on the tiered plan, there is not throttling!  Well AT&T which is it?

Here are their fantastic suggestions:
  1. Use Wi-Fi (nothing like paying for 3g and not using it!)
  2. Do Nothing
  3. Switch to a tiered plan (pay more)

Unfortunately my contract is not up, and my options to switch to aren't great either.  I'm squarely in AT&T's "screw you" demographic.

AT&T goes on my junk list.
